There is something to be said about the power of chucking in a pair of headphones, drowning out the outside world and focusing on something simple as going for a run or lifting some weights for an hour or two.
Don’t you get a feeling of peace or zen after you’ve finished working out?
You know it was hard, you know you didn’t really feel up to it but knowing that you did something hard and allowing yourself an hour to not worry about all the concerns of the outside world or what you have to do tomorrow.
People see going to the Gym as a workout or physical labor and therefore it is much more preferable for most people to prioritize something else over a gym session, but don’t we all feel awesome after a hard workout.
That’s what Sanity at Move is all about, recognising the peace you get from taking a break during the hectic Monday to Friday grind.
